It's time to announce how hidden immunity idols will work this season!
We will be hiding keys throughout the forum and each key will have a letter on it. You will be using the letters from the keys you find to unscramble a word(s). If your unscrambled word(s) is correct, then your next clue will pop up and you continue from there. If a key has no letter on it, then that means there will be a space in the unscramble portion (meaning more than one word).
You will need to make a new thread in your confessional where you will post the images of the keys you find. You MUST state where you found the : key : in order for it to count. In total, there are 14 keys to find and by the time of this post tomorrow, we will have hidden them all. After you find all 14 keys, you will need to unscramble the letters and write your answer in code in your thread. For example if there were 10 keys to find and they were S, C, C, Y, E, K, S, U, BLANK, H, the possible unscrambled code could be:

If that was right, then your next clue will pop up. The number of blank keys you find will indicate how many words there are (one blank means two words, two blanks means three, etc). Remember that you WILL need to include the blank/space (if you find any) in your code (as I did with the example above). You won't know which letters to use until you find the keys. You MUST find all the keys before you start unscrambling, even if it is obvious what the last letter could be.
Keys may be hidden anywhere on the board. You may find a visible image of the key, or the imgur url. They may be hidden in plain site, in spoilers, in a clickable word, etc. Think outside the box! The first two players from each tribe to find all their keys, unscramble the word(s) and solve all the clues after that will be awarded their respective tribe's HII.
Please note that you ARE allowed to help others on your tribe by showing them where you find certain keys, or telling them how many you have found, but be aware that people may not be honest. That is the ONLY portion of the idol hunting that you may assist others in. You may NOT help others in the unscramble portion and you may NOT help others with any of the clues after that.
Please note that for this season, once an idol is played, it will NOT be re-hidden!!

Make sure to double check the URL of some of the keys as you may be posting the same one! If a letter is used more than once, it will have a DIFFERENT URL.

I will post the locations to all those keys and go through the rest of the clues for people who are curious in a bit! None of those locations will be used again for the next idol hunt and those spots will have their keys removed within 24 hours since I'm sure you're all sick of seeing that key in Chey's signature  The hunt for the merge idol is now on! This will work similar to the last hunt - however, you will not be looking for keys this time around. You will be looking for clues! These clues will have some sort of trivia question on it that will require you to post the answer in :code: in your idol thread in your confessional. If you enter in the correct :code: then the key will pop up. As usual, you MUST state where you found each clue in your confessional and PLEASE TRY TO BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE! For example, just stating "In the Dicevivor thread" isn't enough. Tell us which page and which post exactly! There are 16 clues hidden this time around, which means 16 keys as well, and most of the same rules for the last hunt apply. This means, you must find all keys before you start unscrambling the word(s) and the rules regarding blank keys is found above. HOWEVER, this time around you MAY NOT ask others for help in finding clues!!! This is completely individual!!!Some clues you find will have a pretty straightforward question, others may require some more digging/googling to get the answer, and some may have more than one answer so you will have to go through some trial and error. Furthermore, some answers to the questions may be phrased in different ways for when you need to enter them in :code:. For example, if the clue stated "Who is the Princess of Pop?" the answers can be any of the following: :britneyspears: :britney: :britney spears: :spears britney: etc. You will just have to keep trying different derivatives until you find the key. Note: while some :codes: may have spaces in their answer, there will never be a space between the first ":" and the first letter as well as no space between the last letter and the last ":". Remember, no working together on this whatsoever! And don't forget to try different derivatives of your answer if you feel that it is correct. Caps for :code: doesn't matter and spaces can only apply between words not between the : and a letter. We may occasionally provide hints in this thread throughout the rounds, but that IS NOT an indication that the idol hasn't been found yet so please be aware. |

Note: we are going to be STRICT on the BE SPECIFIC part of the hunt! You gotta tell us where EXACTLY some of these clues are that you find. Because some clues may only appear in a specific post, just saying the page # in a thread is not enough. You gotta tell us which post exactly |

Some more idol information I forgot to add on yesterday (sorry, it's a lot and of course Chey doesn't help so blame her ):
Once an idol is found, you ARE allowed to tell other people you found it BUT you are STILL NOT allowed to discuss where you found the clues and the :code: answers!!!!!!
While the pre-merge idols ruled that they would not be re-hidden once played, the merge idol can ONLY be re-hidden if someone is voted out with it in their pocket AND if NO ONE ELSE has completed the hunt yet (hence why you all cannot discuss clues and answers even after someone finds it). We obviously will not indicate to you if it has been re-hidden. If the idol is played at a tribal council, it will not be re-hidden. So always be looking for clues Note that this is NOT an indication that the idol has or has not been found already. |
