Another lost.. This is getting annoying.
On the one hand, I'm glad Jamal is surviving this round. I was very sad about the hand the drew at the swap so this kind of makes it up. He's got to be in the strongest tribe and, well, that's a good thing. If I don't get far, at least I hope he does!
So I made a rookie mistake at one of my stages. I kinda did some of the hardest stages in the list, but I totally bombed the maze with one stupid turn early on. So obviously that's a reason for targeting me.
I talked to Zach last night and I felt we kind of bonded well. Aubry came off as game-bot-ish from the start but that perception kind of changed after I got to know her. We actually have a mutual interest for movies (she works in the industry, or so she's telling me) and so we kind of bonded over that. I dislike Alicia because of her character and so far she's not been very talkative with me so my opinion of her hasn't really changed. Grant was supposed to be this quiet giant, but he's proven to be quite the opposite. He's been chatty with me today and he's actually the only on that has been bold enough to give me a name (Alicia).
I'm in the chopping block this night. It doesn't help that tomorrow I'll be away for most of the day. Alicia is already throwing my name out there (according to Grant). Grant wants to do Alicia, unless he's lying which is totally possible. Silas says that Alicia/Aubry are close or something. Zach is kind of just there. So at first we were like supposed to be doing something simple like finding a crack and going from there. The obvious, you know? But you know the "obvious" hasn't really been my modus operandi in this game so I devised a master plan called "Divide and Conquer".
The plan consists of agreeing to vote for a former Vuku (Alicia in this case) but instead vote for someone else (Aubry or Grant. Likely Aubry) and cause a 3-3-1 vote split. We are assuming Aubry/Grant/Zach do indeed prefer to keep the tribe strong and decide to go for Alicia. The vote will tie 3 votes Alicia, 3 votes Aubry and 1 vote myself (Alicia is likely voting for me). At the revote, former Raro will have 3 votes and former Vuku will have only 2 votes. We get rid of Aubry, isolate Alicia and gain control of the tribe by flipping Alicia to our side.
The reason why this is what I think we'd do is because if the former Vuku's are lying to us, the 3 of us are screwed anyway because they'll just pick us off. If they are not lying and we are able to blindside one of them, we'll gain control 4-3 with Alicia joining out after learning she's betrayed by her own tribe.
However now there's a dilemma and that is that Aubry might not really do Alicia and, if that's the case, then I'm likely getting votes from both Aubry and Alicia. That means that it only takes 1 vote (Zach) to make it a 3-3-1 tie between Aubry and Myself with Grant being the only sole vote for Alicia. This is assuming Grant does indeed sticks to what he's been saying and he votes Alicia. So the safest thing to do here would be to join Grant in voting Alicia and then hope that when Andrea comes, we can work something out with Grant.
This is really complicated and I'm terribly worried and sad that I won't be around as much tomorrow to be able to actually give it my best to survive. I was really hoping we'd win that challenge. But it is what it is.

So far, there's still some uncertainty about what's really going to happen. Silas suspects any division over the old Vuku tribe was based on challenge strength. That's a very good guess because it seems weird how Aubry is shielding Alicia for her lack-luster performances in all challenges and was kind of like "Well, Grant screwed up this time and he wasn't that good in the previous challenge". Best case scenario for us would be for Aubry/Alicia/Zach to actually decide on voting for Grant. That way the Brenda, Silas and Myself will do Aubry and the vote will tie between Aubry and Grant. At re-vote, we stick with Aubry and she goes home 3-2. That means we get to flip Grant over to our side because his former tribe mates would've turned on him and also we keep Alicia and Zach which means Grant's feud with Alicia continues AND, since Zach mentioned he didn't really talk to Grant, we also keep someone who doesn't have a strong relationship with Grant. Andrea is an uncertainty. Silas assumes Aubry has something going with her, I don't know. Whatever the case, if all 3 former Raro are still in the game after this round we'd have not only pulled the biggest blindside so far (extending our record) but we'd have turn this game around completely.
Of course there's still the chance they are all lying and I'm actually getting voted, which is a possibility. But there's not much I can do about that. I may go down this time, but I'll surely get down swinging!
