Final Tribal Council - Jamal, Jefra, Phoebe
I firmly believe that all 3 finalists gave a pretty good FTC overall, which I wasn’t expecting at all, and made my decision harder than I expected it to be. As I said in my last post, I could see myself voting for any of the 3 and for good reasons, but I can only choose 1.
Now, I have thought about this for a while and I somehow believe I’ve been In very similar positions as they were, since I went to ALL TCs pre-merge and that was a loooong game. First TC post-swap usually doesn’t count (as all 3 of them got), because THAT Is when the game is reset and lines are drawn. I believe going to more than 1 TC post-swap is when the game shapes out. So, with that being said, I will go through the situations I find similar between me and them, even though the people involved were not exactly the same (so in a sense just different variables).
Jefra: Sticking with an alliance and turning on them at a certain point was very similar to me sticking with Aubry-Andrea post-swap and then turning on them at the merge vote. Besides that, her NOT telling Hayden he was leaving for the reasons she said were EXACTLY the same thing I did to Jaime pre-merge. I think her thought process was very similar to mine in these situations. She seemed to have started playing a really good strategic game since the double boot at merge, which was her 3rd TC (not counting Spencer), and kept It that way all the way to the end.
Jamal: Trying to be everyone’s die or ride. I think in this essence we were kinda similar, but I was a bit more skeptical of my allies for most of the time, while Jefra (and it seems Phoebe) had the time to do their own thing and moves, while he thought they were at his side following blindly. At the same time, I think he underestimated their threat as the game went on, especially in a sense that Jefra was making her own moves, while Phoebe was befriending people who’d end up on the Jury.
Phoebe: She was throwing people (me, mostly) UTB which I did quite a few times as well. However, I somehow disagree with her reasoning for doing that. She said it was to make us go against each other instead going for her, but in reality that backfired in that I almost voted for her (in case Chelsea had the idol and was voting for me) AND then not sharing the keys with her. And she said she trusted me 3rd most after Brenda-Jaime and I believe that, because we were sharing keys from that point on. And I know for a fact I wasn’t telling everything at the merge (ex. The 50/50 coin), so that was a bit far fetched. BUT I think she played a really good game when it came to befriending the outcasts in Andrea-Aubry, which I think may have a positive result for her at FTC, which is good for her.
With that being said my vote goes to:

Congrats, girl, you really surprised me at the double boot first and did really good ever since then. I think you played the better version of Sarah's game in that you made people overlook and underestimate you, even though all your strategic moves. And I don't see you as Jamal's pawn or sidekick, because you were doing moves that didn't benefit him whatsoever. And you were really fun to talk to! And lastly, I think you needed the least luck out of the 3 throughout this game.
PS: I did consider voting for Jamal, because I believe he played a good in-game strategic game, but his social game was a bit lacking IMO. He had really good one with people who were willing to "open up" to each other, which is commendable, but there are more people than that in the game.
I also thought about voting for Phoebe, but in all fairness, I think every time she wanted to do something (aka throw me UTB), it ended up being worse than her not doing anything at all. I am really happy with her game towards Andrea, and that should be praised, but it was mainly based on her luck at the Auction.
I do believe that Jamal and Phoebe BOTH had more LUCK than Jefra in this game, an example being the swap and them ending on nuRaro. Both Sarah and Jefra have said it'd be Vuku strong if they kept going to TC, even though Jamal would've survived with his idol, but still allegiances would be more obvious BEFORE we hit the merge. And that would shape the game come merge as well, I am talking from experience with Aubry and Co., lmfao.
But overall, all 3 played good games in their own merit: Jamal played a good in-game strategic game, Phoebe did well with managing the outcast Jurors and Jefra played her dark horse game pretty convncingly.
