Thank you so much for choosing to play in Survivor: Rise & Fall! We have a few questions for you:

Introduce yourself! Who are you and what are you about?

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?

If you could compare yourself to a Survivor player, who would it be and why?

Just based on the Survivor player they have chosen to play, give one word to describe your fellow contestants!

Finally, why should viewers root for you to win the million bucks? Do you have what it takes to win Rise & Fall?

I'm Matt. I'm 25 and I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have a dog named Sparky. I love to cook, play any kind of game , and I love to watch sports (although there is not much going on in that arena right now). I like to sing like nobody's listening even though I am not that great of a singer haha. My favorite color is purple, my favorite food is hamburgers. Im a very kind person and sometimes I'm a little too self deprecating!!!

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?

I'm good at making really tight connections with a few people. This allows me to have protection throughout the game, and just have people I can really bounce ideas off of and trust. I also like to think I'm pretty good at challenges too! I'm a kind, nice , honest person and I think people see that and want to take me far in the game!

So while I have the ability to make a few deep connections, I don't cast a wide net. It's hard for me to have really good relationships with a lot of people. I've even gone rounds in games without talking to certain people. This limits my ability to get jury votes at the end. Also, I'm not the most aggressive person and I'm not comfortable making the big moves, but maybe it's time to get out of my comfort zone!

If you could compare yourself to a Survivor player, who would it be and why?

I've been saying this a lot recently, but having him back on my screen I see a lot of similarities in my game to Ethan. I think he's just a solid, liekable, non threatening dude. He's never the top of an alliance but he's always a part of the core. He gets along well with people, but not everyone likes to work with him. He's also a very funny guy and I like to think that I am as well!

I'm gonna keep the viewers entertained! the viewers will love seeing how my relationships and story impact the game. They'll love my substance and style and I'll become the audience favorite! Maybe not as first but I have that impact, I'm a slow burn! I definitely have what it takes to win it all. One thing is for sure, I'll have the biggest HEART.
