Round 4 - "You need to like and talk to people"

Hello loves! It's Round 4 and I am still kicking it! I honestly feel like I am in the best position right now. The GIF above really sums up how I felt when I saw who was with me in my tribe.

I successfully created the Locky's Keys alliance (which I bedgrudgingly agreed to, btw). I honestly, don't want my name in the alliance name lol that just paints a target on my back. Well if people find out that is but hopefully it just stays between me, Sarah and Hayden. I honestly feel like this is a great alliance to be in. Especially since I am able to strengthen it further because we are still together. 

Moreover, we have Jefra with us who I absolutely wanted to be in an alliance with regardless of how she's so hard to get a hold of. I think we will be fine and I think it was a good idea to form that group chat with all four of them. I feel like that would definitely strengthen our bond together and propel us further.

I honestly don't think I am that sad that Zach isn't with me. I think that's actually good for me. Because at least the tribe is split 4-3 each. Which I think is perfect and would be just the right thing that would happen for old Vuku to dominate and perhaps get rid of the rist of old Raro. Now of course that totally depends on the other side on whether they would actually do that. We never really got into making sure everyone stayed Vuku strong. But Aubry did say she was going that route. So who knows.

I made sure that Sarah and Hayden knows that I am happy that I am with them. And I truly am, I mean there was really nothing to it. I even told Justin about how I'm happy they were with me haha. I just couldn't contain myself. 

Even though I am already with the people I like I thought it was great to branch out and talk to the other members in our tribe.


Starting off with Jamal. I must say, Jamal surprised me. He's a good talker. He's very sociable and I think I have talked more to him than I have ever talked to anyone on my tribe combined. Or at least most of the people on my tribe. Isn't it weird that I was right about how I said he would be someone who will educate people? It turns out he's a teacher irl lol. And he shared a lot of wisdom on how he played and how his old tribe was. He really wasn't hesitant to tell it to me all. I guess I made him feel comfortable enough for him to share a lot to me. I did tell him I wasn't going to share whatever he has told me. Just yet. I think that it's crucial to have someone like him here. I feel like he's going to play a major part down the line and I really like him. I like our talks in general and I believe he'd be someone I would get along with outside of this game. I guess it's just too bad we didn't happen to be in the same tribe from the very beginning because he's actually pretty cool. 


The quote title came from Jamal and I actually agree. I like talking to people and I like to have an alliance with people who I can constantly talk to and make jokes with or talk about personal stuff. I think it's important to be able to converse and enjoy yourself in this game. Otherwise it will just be pretty boring and you will just end up with people you don't like at all.


Now let's talk about Phoebe. Phoebe is from AUSTRALIA. OMG I didn't expect someone to be here and be actually be from australia. I have been telling people I am from Australia and I thought I got away with it pretty good. And having someone who is actually from Australia kind of limits my ability to go that route because she might start getting suspicious with things I say or do. speaking of Australia though, I wanted to share this funny conversation I had with Jefra a long time ago and I thought for sure she got me.

Anyway, there's not much to say about Phoebe. She seemed glad that she was able to talk to someone who is from the Aussie Survivor cast. but we pretty much didn't talk much else.


Spencer was kind of the same and probably the person I talked to the least. I think the only thing memorable about him was when people found his nickname on Discord funny. But nothing else really happened.


Overall, I feel totally great about this swap and I feel like the other tribe is in that headspace too. Not unless Aubry goes rogue and votes off Alicia for being drunk or whatever.

I do miss Zach though. He said something about how he was very grateful to have met me. And that was the last thing he said before swap happened. Hopefully he's going to be alright in that other tribe.

Tier List for this Round

Trust -

I still have Zach up there as people I trust even though he has gone off to the other tribe. I feel like he would still be with me once we get back together again. And with the formation of Locky's Keys I just solidified my trust with both Hayden and Sarah

Friendly -

I honestly didn't think I would like Jamal. I even told him how I wasn't really all for his choice of survivor but he's really cool. He seems down to earth and have all this life experience and stuff that I find fascinating. I think he and I will get along just fine. Jefra is still in the friendly zone even though I trust her somewhat. Just because we never really got to game talk. But I feel like at this point she has nothing left to do but trust in Sarah, Hayden and I. I do like Jefra though but I think she needs to be more active.

Neutral -

I guess it's good that I get to meet the other player who has an Aussie Survivor. But what worries me is that she will soon find out I'm a phony lol. Having someone who is actually from Australia is going to be bad for me if she starts picking up on how I am not australian at all. Spencer is like the Grant of our tribe. Like he's there during the tribe chat but he fails at talking one on one.

I have gotten to talk to Phoebe a little more and I like her. I like her more than I like Spencer now and she seems to agree that Spencer is hard to talk to lol.

I mean win or lose, I think we did a good job there. I have a feeling who I want to target if we lose. otherwise, I hope we won.

I really feel like we can make this tribe work even towards merge. We've got some really great challenge competitors in Hayden, Sarah, Jefra and Jamal. And I feel like this tribe will be loyal to it down the line especially when the other tribe will obviously target old raro. I guess we can pretend that we are still Old Vuku strong but I really don't want to work with Aubry/Andrea down the line.

I may have sounded a bit comfortable in our tribe chat which I think is bad. I need to dial it down. But I really wanted to make everyone feel included to keep the tribe morale up and get everyone committed to ensure we keep winning challenges. The downside is people will feel I am too comfortable or that people are talking to me. They might see me a threat. And that worries me. Although I can always hide behind Hayden or Sarah or Jefra who are beast competitors. I do feel good about my standing in this tribe but at the same time I don't want to be too complacent. I just hope we can make it to merge without having to worry about drawing the lines down.

I tried to ask Jamal whether anyone has found all the keys on their tribe as I discussed how the host mentioned the idol hunt is still on. Apparently he hasn't found them all. I am so tempted to tell him where all the keys are so he can find that idol and at least I would know where it will be. But the downside to that is I am just afraid he would idol me out Denise style. And THAT WOULD BE VERY BAD. So no, I will refrain from helping him out.
