Episode 1 thoughts as I watched the episode:
I love the BB house and I still hate the new BB's voice
I like Sonia as a host. I do miss the live audience though. I don't like how some people didn't get their intro shown so you don't really get an idea of how everyone is like but whatever
The tasks that BB gave to Kieran were fun but sorta dumb. Made for some awkward moments. It would have been funny if someone was like "don't touch me" when he offered to massage them. I wish he failed though so they got no beds lmao
The Angela/BB segment over "my/our" house was hilarious
Ian: "I play the spoons" oh okay
Ian is weird but nice. I was liking him until they showed a spider crawling on his hand lol
Angela is funny but seems a tad bitchy. I don't like that she thinks she is better than others.
Lol @ potentially being targeted over snoring (Dan)
Angela: "I'm shaking like a drug addict" I can't
I like that they brought back the basic rations for food and that they have to earn $$ to buy things
I find Allan pretty annoying
I wanted Laura to win the nominations competition since she has a target on her back lord I was surprised Talia won. I guess she is good with balls.
I don't like that they didn't give Talia time to think about her noms or discuss with others. Maybe it will change after the first eviction? I also didn't like her nominations.
No POV competition? #confused The nominees get to vote as well? #confusedx2
I wish Zoe left out of Kieran and Laura. It sucked to see Laura go even though we didn't see much from her. I'm pissed since she was so close to winning the competition. I thought Kieran was gonna go because he was overplaying but he did deserve to stay.
I expected this BB to be better but it feels too rushed having everything in one episode. Reminds me of The Circle.
Kieran, Allan and Angela hogged the airtime. Glad the rest of the housemates enter in tomorrow's episode. I guess the format is not exactly the same as US/CAN which kinda sucks ngl
I'm not sure if I missed anything though since I was watching it live. Maybe they said it was for the first eviction only??

Just finished watching with Estelle and I agree with most of what u said kat kek -cept Angela is FOR SURE the best hg lmao. so entertaining. we were dyin at everything she said -i was wondering if kat hated the ep because her bae, laura, was evicted lmao -marissa reminds me of u  -90 minutes with no pov is lame -calling it the nomination challenge is funny -bb is a fkin creepy perv this season |

Yeah I thought it was ok, I'll try to keep up for now. I could see it going either way. I feel like the first few eps are always awk cuz the hgs are trying to create their own house culture. We'll see lol ANGELA IS THE QUEEN OF THE SZN, that's on period. I didn't know who tf Zoe was when she got nommed?  I thought Kieran was going bc he was crazy paranoid, but toward the end it seemed too obvi and I figured Laura was I felt bad for Laura, she gave me Stella lone wolf strong opinion vibes, I wish Zoe left too @ kat lol. I'm in lurve w/ Ian, even tho I didn't care much for him at the start. Idk why I want to punch Xavier in the face every time I see him  lol I really didn't like Talia at the start but she grew on me by the end. I wonder how they're gonna introduce the last 8? Cuz the preview said only 4 more tonight. Idk we'll see, I'm cautiously excited but the coming few eppys will really determine if the season rises or falls hehe I also hope they show more of the votes after the fact, I wonder if it's just cuz it was week 1 they didn't? Not much to base votes on... It felt super rushed, so I wonder how much strategy is gonna go into BBAU compared to its previous seasons. I feel like it's almost gonna be Glass House strategy, not full on BB US. Also BB voice is so awk-y, but I'm kinda getting into it.~ Feel the fantasy!!! |

Hi! First time ever watching BB Australia, so thanks for posting the link Justin!!! My thoughts: I think I have differing opinions on quite a few things lol
-The Secret Mission thing was so stupid imo. Just a waste of time that could have been used for something else. It's not like they would leave them without beds for the night, so it was dumb.
-I am NOT a fan of Kieran. I find him obnoxious.
-Going off of that, I find like 70% of the cast obnoxious and annoying but I guess that's how BB usually is?
-I was SHOCKED by the noms cause usually in BB US the outfits get nommed, so yeah.
-AND I was SHOCKED by the votes. Kinda sad to see Laura go, but surprised Zoe got so many votes.
-Not sure if there is never a POV and how the game style really works cause you guys seemed to think that this was abnormal, but yeah, everything felt TOO rushed and very much like Glass Door.
-My favs I guess may be others favs but I like Kacey, Zoe and Xavier! Angela and "her house" are fucking hilarious, but I can't choose her for a winner for obvious reasons. In some seasons, females weren't even allowed to have make up or other things unless they win rewards and shit. |
