It was really nice to get Chelsea out of here. It was shocking how quickly our dead tribe chat opened up since then. These three losses couldn't be more different. The first one was a complete domination and while we might have been it near the end(-ish), they either were far ahead and needed time on the last lock, or simply had someone good at logic puzzles. But...no other way to look at it.
The second loss was tougher. The matchups didn't go our way and the setup didn't go our way. But I would still contend it was even, and if you look at the totality of the all 8 performances, it's a wash. We just a close one.
The third one admittedly grinds my gears. Probably because I personally am not able to navigate this board for shit. My 7-year-old could probably do a better job of figuring this out. And it's very possible that the loss was just as much due to loading a puzzle, taking a screenshot, uploading it, getting a link, and posting on the board...
...then it was about completing the actual challenge/puzzle.
That makes it a tough one to take because we very well might have finished the puzzle in 10:21 and they finished it in 10:02, but they just turned around the post quicker? That doesn't seem like a challenge win to me. But, it was a fair playing field and they won it. Just doesn't make a whole lost of sense to me.
Not sure what happens from here. A merge or a shuffle will need to happen soon and that will make it impossible for any Rarotonga to compete. 3 tribes of 5 will have a 3-2 split and will get people picked off here. Or if we wait one more and do 2/7, you'd still have a 5-2 and 4-3. There's always a way to twist a tribe majority, but I'm not sure why they would want to, they probably haven't seen any evidence of skill or threat. They'd probably just carry someone along because it'd be an easy win, if anything.
Really hoping for more challenges that aren't live. Major struggle to get people in their wheel house. I'd guarantee a puzzle win after merge one on one with any of these clowns, even in the tribe I don't know. Bring it.
