Round #2

Hey Guys!

So we came back from Tribal Council after blindsiding Jaymes. Jamal was a bit upset because he thought that people would keep Jaymes and not switch at the last moment. He later revealed to me that he'd actually given his word to Jaymes that he wouldn't vote for him and that's why he wasn't willing to give in to voting him out. Spencer was obviously out of the loop and I feel like I lacked in terms of doing damage control with him..? I told him that it was a last minute thing and that it came down to likability and people not really liking Jaymes but that was about it. I didn't want to talk to him too much because I wasn't really interested in having to lie to him about my real alliance etc.

So I continued to search for the HII keys.. It's been like to worst. I've check this board up side down like 100 times and I still need 2 keys. I know Jamal has at least 11 because that's what he told he was at. Silas may have some, and I'd think Spencer/Marcus would be out on the hunt and maybe doing good (though Marcus was kind of away to day as well, so there's that). I'm not sure Brenda's got much time to look for it today. Phoebe doesn't strike me as someone who'd put in that much work (I'd be mistaken) and I doubt Chelsea will be able to figure out the harder clues. So, even though I'm sure some people may be close to collecting all 14 keys, I doubt they'll do it anytime soon.

Today was a quiet day. Everyone was like talking about how we'd do our best in the challenge and stuff. I was having discussions with Silas and Jamal and Brenda about what to do in case we lost. Even though I said last night that I'd want Chelsea to go, today I was much more relaxed and was like willing to let that go, stick to the 5-some and vote either Spencer or Marcus out. Around 3 or 4 this afternoon, Chelsea comes to the all girls alliance room and says that Spencer told her that Silas was saying the was worried about an all female-alliance. I made the stupid mistake of asking Silas about it right away (I consider Silas my #1 and I thought that wouldn't go out).. Silas then went to Spencer and confronted him about saying that to Chelsea (he didn't mention I was the one who told me). For some reason, Spencer then went to Chelsea and confronted her about telling what he was saying. I was caught red-handed because I was the only one around (Brenda was also, but she was sort of away) and I had to come up with one excuse that I did ask Silas, but that I didn't mention Chelsea.

That was a real mess. I was very upset (mostly at myself) for that rookie mistake. I told Brenda privately that I, indeed, asked Silas but that it was only because I was upset that Chelsea would throw him under the bus with Phoebe when he was supposed to be part of our 5-some. I went to Chelsea and confronted her about it and told her that I did asked Silas about what she was saying; that I apologized for not coming to her first with my concern but that I didn't feel it was right to throw him under the bus. She was all like "I understand, I agree" and claiming that she'd just bombed her game. Yeah, you did... She went bananas after that and even went to Jamal and told him that Marcus/Silas/Myself are a 3 person alliance and that we'd be taken out.


We lost the IC (We'd have won have we had a different order ) . So that means we are going to Tribal Council again. 

The plan was originally supposed to be Marcus/Spencer, but after Chelsea shenanigans, I wasn't happy about allowing her to survive this round and cause more chaos down the road. So the 5-some became a 4-some and Jamal even set up a new chatroom with just the 4 of us. We were discussing about what to do. Silas, Brenda and Myself were kind of leaning towards voting for Chelsea, but Jamal was worried that maybe she'd spill the beans on our alliance if she finds out we are turning on her. He had a good point because we weren't sure that we'd talk to Marcus/Spencer and Phoebe without it getting back to Chelsea. We were not worried that she'd be able to get the votes to send one of us out as it was unlikely the other 3 would draw rocks over Chelsea, but we didn't want to completely tore the tribe apart. So there was some reluctancy for a while and it seems like Marcus/Spencer were going home. But that wasn't part of my plan, so I went to work.

Jamal was talking to Spencer and try to feel him out on the vote and I went to Marcus. I was honest with him and explained him what had gone down last night with the vote to save him. I also told him about Chelsea spreading lies about us and also how she was telling everyone a different thing. After a while, he told me that he was up for voting for Chelsea because she was creating too much drama and that he was going to talk to Jamal about it. I think he talked to Spencer as well because Jamal told me that Spencer was now mentioning voting for Chelsea.

So that went well, I guess? I mean, I have my suspicions that maybe Marcus/Spencer are working together, but I definitely feel like I can try and work with them in the future. There's no chance in hell I'm trusting Chelsea with my game.


I'm going to stop now because I'm tired and my head hurts and I need to be up early tomorrow to go to work. I'll follow up on this in a later post.

Morning everyone!

So last night was pretty interesting. I went to Phoebe an proceeded to explain to her what was happening. I was SHOCKED by her reaction, but it's understandable. She was very upset that all this conversations were happening around without ANYONE telling her. I certainly didn't expect that reaction, but then I thought that although she was upset that I didn't come to her before, at least no-one else had talked to her before, which means that moving forward, she might appreciate me been the only one to tell her what was going on, or at least the first one. As mentioned, I had this terrible headache and she went MIA for a bit so I just tried my best to apologized to her about how the situation had gone down and reassured her that we were good and that I'd still like for us to work together. It was certainly convenient that Phoebe his in a different timezone because that means everyone (or most of us) were sleeping after that conversation and it's not like she had too many people to talk to about it.

So this morning I saw that she's left me a message apologizing for going away, and then proceeded to tell me that she was fine voting for Chelsea, although she feels like she's not really high in the tribe picking order. I tried to explain to her that I didn't feel like it was some majority alliance that came up with it, but that it's mostly based on a collective feeling that Chelsea can't be trusted. Then Silas told me that she was asking him if it was true he was worried about an all-girls alliance and he proceed to tell her that he did and that confronted Spencer about it who then went back to Chelsea. Phoebe then told him that she was not very happy about being dragged to this new plan without having a say and she told him that I was the one who told her that everyone was on board with voting for Chelsea and that I also told her that I asked Silas about the female alliance. That was a bit concerning because I'm showing up in way too many conversations and I wouldn't be surprise if people like Marcus/Spencer would be maybe talking about me. I think I can trust Silas, Brenda and Jamal to look out for me, but I'd be wrong. I've played WAY TOO HARD too early, and I desperately need to calm down and cool off. This was supposed to be the round for me to tone it down and not be like OTT like I feel I was last round, but I screwed that when I told Silas about what Chelsea was saying and he confronted Spencer.

I have to admit that I'm exhausted. I feel like I've forced myself into a position where I've to be heavily invested to make sure I keep myself on top of everything and it's overwhelming. I hope this Tribal Council goes has planned and Chelsea goes and that we can then have like a much more relaxed experience moving forward. I wouldn't be surprised if people caught up to me and figure out that I may also be playing too hard and decide to blindside me. I wouldn't expect it at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised either.
